I am worried about people finding out about what I talk about. Can that happen?
All counsellors take client confidentiality very seriously, and are bound by ethical codes of conduct to ensure that your information is never shared with anyone without your consent. This includes keeping client records – digital and physical – under multilevel security systems. How long will it take?
Each person is different and comes to counselling for different reasons. Therefore it is hard to give an exact timeline for counselling before meeting in person.
